As a performer, Manjeet Singh Rasiya is one of the most versatile and sought after musicians in terms of not only classical performances but also cross-cultural music. His ability to perform with effortless ease stems from his experience as both a solo and an accompanying artist; this skill of empathising with other musicians whilst performing thus allows him to play with sensitivity, expression and understanding. This has undoubtedly aided him whilst performing not only with other instrumentalists, but also dancers such as Pandit Pratap Pawar, Urja Thakore and Sujata Bannerjee.

Manjeet is currently working on several projects involving KauRas, a London-based trio specialising in spiritual music from around the world. He is also initiating several students into the Punjab Gharana tradition of tabla, as well as setting up a school of tabla for students of all ages to learn both technique and the art of performance.

In the future, Manjeet hopes to continue to add to his experiences as a world musician/percussionist with like-minded and professional creators, producing new music, sounds and ideas to make this art form more interesting and accessible to the younger generation.
